Great mower ... But had to buy an extra battery pack to be able to finish the whole yard in one go. It was a worthy investment, as well as the fast charger cable.

I recently bought a Lawn Boy mower; although I know very little, here is what I have: It is the key start type, self propelled, and made of cast aluminum. Now for the problem; I can't get it to start. I have tried the key; but am very sure there has to be a manual way to get it to run. If you have any information and don't mind passing it on; I sure could use your help. Thank You and GOD Bless You and all those you love. Barry

I have to totally disagree with the review of this mower.
I purchased one the spring of 2010. It is the poorest cutting mower I've ever had.
It was necessary to mow the yard TWICE in order to make it look cut. I waited out the early season high moisture content period...but even with lower moisture content in the grass, it was crap. Unfortunately I missed my return window by 5 days. Lowe's would not take it back.

Get a cordless Jeffrie :P

I wonder the actual footprint this things leaves behind compared to a regular gas mower. It uses electricity which is produced somewhere...wonder how much energy goes into making the electricity needed to run the mower. Does that make sense?

Feel free to use the article for your school project Thomas. Tell your Dad to have a look at the pop up system on the bottom of this page. There is no need to dig trenches for pipes and its really cheap.

Cheers

Great article, hope you don't mind me using it for my school project. My Dads will find this helpful, he is thinking about installing a pop up watering system for our lawn.

Thanks
