- There’s a single speed for the self propulsion, but the speed is about right so not a big problem.
- Leaving the key in when the mower is not in use will cause the unit to beep, not when you want to move something out of the way, buts its a good saftey feature.

Ordered this late August 2009 after my 20 year old gas Airens finally quit. Was worried about battery life but I guess I’ve been lucky. The charge lasts at least an hour which is plenty to cut my average suburban Chicago lawn. About 1/3 acre. I even go over it twice; which I also had to do with the gas mower to get a clean cut.

Great mower … But had to buy an extra battery pack to be able to finish the whole yard in one go. It was a worthy investment, as well as the fast charger cable.
