New and Improved Design
Poulan have made some improvements on this model, for starters the previous Poulan Pro series motor was a 160cc and the new model is 190cc, this gas lawn mower also meets the stringent requirements for CARB compliant. Another difference from previous self propelled models is that the 625 is front wheel drive not rear wheel like the others. The electric key start is a great bonus for a lawn mower in this price range.

Electric Start
The electric start will make starting the mower a breeze, simply turn the key and away you go, there is know need to yank on a cord and strain you arm. The electric start alone is a good reason to purchase this gas lawn mower.
Self Propelled
This self propelled lawn mower controls and simple to use and have a safety lock so the mower does not take off without you. The front wheel drive gear system has a feature to keep the drive control engaged when turning corners, you push down on the handle to lift the front wheels off the ground while turning the lawn mower, this gives you a very tight turning area then a rear drive self propelled lawn mower.
Benefits of front wheel drive
Another advantage of front wheel drive is that it gives more traction when going up steep inclines and want take off on you going down a steep slope. The variable speed control can be set to speed that is most comfortable for you and depending on the size and thickness of the lawn.
The Poulan Pro is controlled by holding the operator presence control bar down to the handle and pulling the drive control lever rearward to the handle. Forward motion will stop when either the operator presence control bar or drive control lever are released. To stop forward motion without stopping engine simply release the drive control lever only.
